Jen Loberg

Scarred for Life is a leather-worker and metal jewelry maker from Bay View, WI. Jen picked up her love for leather at an early age from her grandfather, who reupholstered vehicles. She loves to work with simple designs using classic stitching techniques in her pieces. All leather items are made with repurposed materials and every little scrap is used. Her signature use of metal swing clasp allows clients to recognize a Scarred for Life bag. Recently, Scarred for Life has introduced leather, patchwork ottomans and continuously plans new lines for each season.

Big White

Big White Yeti

We're Katie Daly and Cody Weiss and together we're Big White Yeti. We started making candles from our apartment kitchen in 2012. We opened our Etsy doors in early 2013 selling a few soy candles in cute little tins - Yeti's Breath, Lavender Patch and a silly one named Kitten Toots. Our creative process begins with thinking about things we like and scents we want our home to smell like. Earthy, natural, and happy are typically the terms we throw around when talking about a new Yeti. It's that simple. If it's not a candle we'd burn in our home, we don't make it. We believe in simple, unfussy scents that smell really good. We make beautiful soy candles that are 100% soy wax, pure fragrance oils and undiluted essential oils and cotton wicks. That's it! Clean, pure, long-lasting candles.

Decoration Soap Flowers

Hand-Carved Decorative Soap Flowers

These hand-carved and hand-painted decorative soap flowers were brought back from Thailand by Thor on one of his recent journeys. Made by a Hmong family in living in Northern Thailand near Chiang Mai, each one of these beauties takes about 45 minutes to complete. The artist starts with a plain round white bar of soap and with very delicate hands, carves away to make each individual flower. Since they are handmade, you will never see two that are exactly alike. Stop in to take a look at these hard to find carvings. Pick one up and smell the soap, but be careful as these flowers are very fragile. These decorative soap flowers make great gifts!

Susan B's Workshop

Designing and making jewelry is a fun, playful, and creative outlet for Susan and she shows this in her work. Each piece is unique and hand crafted. She likes to use recycled items: stamps, maps, colorful pieces of scrap paper, foreign currency and found objects. Sometimes she take things apart, like pocket watches, and incorporate them into a design. Coins from around the world are put into resin for medallions and key rings. When she embosses metal Susan hand paints each item, taking her time and sometimes going back and retouching it multiple times until it's just right.
